Enfatico Announces Three Key Hires to its Digital Leadership Team
CEO Boone Says Agency Positions Digital 'At Its Core'
David Shulman Appointed Chief Digital Officer
NEW YORK, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Enfatico, the WPP company spearheading a new multidisciplinary, global approach to marketing services, today announced three key additions to its digital leadership team, including the appointment of a Chief Digital Officer. In making the announcement on the company's blog (http://nextstoryboard.com), Enfatico CEO Torrence Boone wrote the appointments reflect the company's drive to position digital "at the agency's core." He also pointed to the important role emerging markets like China and India will have in shaping the next wave of digital innovation.
The appointments include:
David Shulman as Enfatico's Chief Digital Officer, based in New York, responsible for leading all digital marketing efforts globally. Shulman will also work with the cross-disciplinary leadership team on brand, marketing strategy and global campaign execution. Shulman is the former president of the New York office of digital agency imc2, and former managing director of Digitas Detroit;
Josh Sklar as Global Creative Director, based in Austin, Texas. Sklar will lead creative development of all digital initiatives, as well as manage the Austin digital group. Sklar most recently served as Global Chief Creative Officer for WPP Digital's BLUE Interactive out of Singapore; and
Jonathan Mo as Digital Creative lead based in Beijing. A former Interactive Creative Director for Leo Burnett, Mo will lead digital campaign development throughout Asia-Pacific and tap into the budding innovation throughout the region.
"At Enfatico, 'digital' goes beyond traditional definitions to include creating branded content, sparking authentic conversations with customers and channeling customer insights and feedback into product strategy," said Boone. "Today, every marketer should be exploring how to leverage digitally enabled content, conversation and co-creation to build brand intimacy."
Boone pointed to the latest example of Enfatico's digital successes. Dell's "Take Your Own Path," a campaign conceived by Enfatico's Singapore team and launched in India, profiles small business executives throughout India as "real heroes" of the business world. The campaign, which will roll out internationally, features an Enfatico-designed portal for small-business owners to discuss possible technological solutions for their businesses directly with Dell executives. The campaign also uses SMS technology for small-business owners to get updates directly on their mobile phones.
Enfatico is putting digital at the core of its global integrated campaigns. Boone noted that these latest senior hires confirm the agency's commitment to world-class digital stewardship.
