John Barth offers tale of separation of people and religion with "Northland"
LAS VEGAS, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The year is 2045. David Cohen, a well-respected newspaper columnist, has been offered the assignment of a lifetime: the opportunity to investigate Northland (publishedby AuthorHouse), the new novel by John Barth named after a city in Midwest America, a city which allows only white, Christian citizens to live in its city limits.

About the Author: John Barth was born in Detroit and attended school in Farmington, Mich. He has been married for 38 years and has two children. As a businessman, Barth makes time to indulge in his hobbies of playing golf, ice hockey and other sports. He is an avid reader and loves to travel.
