Monsanto Company Sets Webcasts for 2009 First-Quarter Financial Results and Upcoming Presentations on R&D Pipeline Updates

LOUIS, Dec. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) today announced it will issue the company's financial results for its fiscal 2009 first quarter on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, prior to market open. Monsanto additionally will hold a conference call that day at 8:30 a.m. CT (9:30 a.m. ET). The call will focus on the company's first-quarter results, its future expectations and its annual update of new and progressing projects within the company's Research and Development (R&D) pipeline. The call may also include a discussion of Monsanto's strategic initiatives, product performance and other matters related to the company's business.
