Perot Systems Announces New Appointments to Sales Leadership Positions
 

FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perot Systems (NYSE: PER) today announced that Doug Sickler, Tom Richey and Melissa Smith have joined the company's Government Services business unit's sales team. Sickler joins the company as the new Senior Vice President of Sales for federal civilian agencies; Richey will serve as the new Director of Sales for the Department of Homeland Security; and Smith is the new Director of Business Strategy Development.

Doug Sickler is Perot Systems' new Senior Vice President of Sales for federal civilian agencies. Before joining Perot Systems, Sickler worked at EDS for 15 years in a variety of operations and sales positions across both civilian and defense markets. He is a five-time recipient of the EDS Inner Circle award which recognizes the top EDS sales professionals annually. Sickler holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University, and an M.A. in Telecommunications from George Mason University.

Tom Richey comes to Perot Systems as the new Director of Sales for the Department of Homeland Security. Before joining Perot Systems, Richey worked as a consultant on business strategy and policy in maritime safety and security, national security law enforcement and energy security. Before working as a consultant, Richey worked for Microsoft for five years; and also served as a senior policy advisor to Senator John Kerry. He has a B.S. in Microbiology and Psychology from Arizona State University.

Melissa Smith joins Perot Systems as the new Director of Business Strategy Development. Before joining Perot Systems, Smith worked as a consultant for six years and served as Director of Research for INPUT, where she instituted improvements which resulted in a 200 percent increase in customer satisfaction. She holds a B.A. in English and English Literature from the University of Virginia.
