Bittman to Retire as Executive Vice President at IGT, Will Remain as Board Member
LAS VEGAS, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Robert A. "Bob" Bittman will retire as executive vice president of product strategy for IGT (NYSE: IGT), effective December 31, 2008. He will remain active with the company through his current position on the International Game Technology Board of Directors, which he has held since May 2000.
"Bob has been a very big part of IGT's success over the years, and we are pleased that he will remain affiliated with the company through his board activities and duties," said IGT Chairman and CEO TJ Matthews.
Bittman has worked at IGT since 1985 and has served as executive vice president of product strategy since 2003. Before that, he held the positions of executive vice president of product development, vice president of marketing, director of marketing, and marketing research analyst. He came to IGT after working for five years in various slot-related positions at Caesars Tahoe.
