Perot Systems Expands Senior Leadership Team in Latin America
Enrique Cortes Appointed Managing Director to Head Company's Business Development
GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Perot Systems Corporation
(NYSE: PER) (http://www.perotsystems.com) today announced the appointment of
Enrique Cortes as Managing Director for the company's Latin America region. In
his new role, Mr. Cortes will serve as Perot Systems' senior leader in Latin
America, primarily responsible for leading the company's business development
and market expansion. His current role has been country manager for Perot
Systems in Mexico.

Mr. Cortes was instrumental in developing and launching Perot Systems'
operations in Guadalajara, Mexico in November, 2006. Since then, the company
has grown from 30 associates to more than 300 today, and delivers high tech
services from the Guadalajara facility to Perot Systems clients around the
world. Perot Systems was ranked as one of the "Best IT & Telecomm Places to
Work in Mexico" in March, 2008 by the Great Place to Work Institute and
InfoWorld/CIO Mexico.

Mr. Cortes began his career with Perot Systems in Europe, where he had
operational responsibilities with clients in the U.K., The Netherlands,
Switzerland and France. He has been an active participant in the globalization
of Perot Systems, launching operations in Guadalajara, the Philippines and
India.
Mr. Cortes currently serves on the board of TEC de Monterrey campus
Guadalajara School of Engineering, the board of CADELEC, and he is the leader
of the Council of ITO/BPO services council of CADELEC/CANIETI in Mexico. Mr.
Cortes has published multiple scholarly papers in the fields of intelligent
systems, data bases, systems performance, and global delivery of IT services.
Mr. Cortes is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science, and holds a Master of
Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University. He studied Computer
Engineering at TEC de Monterrey in Mexico, and attended the "Leadership in
Professional Services" program at Harvard Business School.
