ACS Signs $48 Million Medicaid Contract Renewal with State of Wyoming
 

DALLAS, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) today announced it has signed a five-year, $48 million contract renewal with the Wyoming Department of Health to provide fiscal agent services for the state's Medicaid and Dental program.

This contract, which continues fiscal agent services for the operation of Wyoming's Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) through June 2013, further extends ACS' 15-year relationship with the state and is the third consecutive award for ACS in Wyoming.

As part of the new contract, ACS will add a call center to address provider questions from the dental community as well as work with the Dental program on client outreach initiatives.

In addition to regular fiscal agent operations, ACS also administers Provider Relations, Medical Policy, all Third-Party Liability functions, Medicare buy-in, and estate recovery, as well as a transportation call center that processes funds for administrative and emergency travel services for Medicaid clients.
