CPU Tech to Exhibit Low-Power, Anti-Tamper Processing at SC08
PLEASANTON, Calif., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- CPU Technology, Inc. (CPU
Tech) announced today it will participate at the SC08 Supercomputing
Conference, November 15-21st, at the Austin Convention Center, Austin,
TX, in booth #225. The company will exhibit the Acalis CPU872 Field
Programable MultiCore System-on-Chip (SoC) and the SystemLab PS(TM)
real-time virtualization solution. The CPU872 directly addresses recent
mandates by the US government for Anti-Tamper (AT) technology in its
systems and provides security for supply chains while uniquely scaling
its high performance computing without the need of additional hardware.
The SystemLab PS provides a secure suite of tools for the virtual
development and real-time verification and validation of these complex
systems. The CPU872 scalability and SystemLab PS performance allow system
engineers to design and deploy high performance computing solutions up to
50 percent faster than traditional tools and devices.
"Our Acalis family of SoC devices continue to gain strong interest in
the AT circles of many large companies and agencies," said Ed King,
founder and Chairman of the Board. "The low power requirements and
direct scalability are opening up new opportunities in secure mobile
computing as well."
The CPU872 includes dual, high performance PowerPC(R) 440 and FPU
cores, along with embedded DRAM, and specialized compute engines to
accelerate computation of complex algorithms while minimizing power
dissipitation. The CPU872 is an industrial grade device with a
guaranteed minimum ten year life span. Evaluation kits, including
evaluation boards and advanced SystemLab(R) development tools, will be
available in Q1, 2009. The SystemLab PS is a real-time modeling and
simulation solution for complete, large scale, complex systems with
visibility into any signal, any memory, any processor, any register and
any line of code. To learn more call (925) 224-9920 or contact
