LAS VEGAS, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Las Vegas Gaming, Inc. (LVGI) announced
today that it is launching a suite of new and exciting software applications
on both their award-winning PlayerVision(R) system and the IGTsb(TM) platform
to be shown at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2008. These innovative software
applications will be delivered via IGTsb Service Window(TM), IGTsb NextGen(R),
and PlayerVision(R) on main EGM screens, player tracking screens, side
screens, in hotel rooms, on mobile devices and via digital signage, thus
allowing the casino operator to customize and energize the player's experience
at all of the "touch points" within their enterprise.
"Las Vegas Gaming has positioned itself to be the premier provider of
software in the gaming resort of today and tomorrow," said Jon Berkley,
president and CEO of Las Vegas Gaming. "Now that we are able to impact the
player experience at every conceivable touch point, the significance of
innovative software in a networked environment can have a serious impact on
the bottom line of the operator by increasing time on device, incrementally
expanding wagers, lowering operating costs and driving improved customer
satisfaction. By combining the PlayerVision(R) platform with the IGTsb(TM)
platform, we are able to drive applications right now. The future is here
today and running on the latest, as well as the oldest games on the floor."
Las Vegas Gaming software applications that will be shown at G2E in both
LVGI's and IGT's booths will include: Beverage-on-Demand, Streaming Audio,
Streaming Video, VoyeurVision(TM), NumberVision(R), AdVision(TM),
ValetVision(TM), Player Tracking Interface, GuestVision(TM), and more.
Beverage-on-Demand allows customers to place a drink order directly from a
slot machine. This application alone allows operators to reduce their on-floor
service staff by up to 50%, saving millions of dollars per year on the average
slot floor, while simultaneously increasing customer satisfaction.
Nevada Numbers(R) is one of the NumberVision(R) applications that will
also be shown at G2E. "The ability to offer an incremental, life-changing
jackpot game at the EGM is proving very popular with the players and
incredibly profitable to the operator," Berkley stated.
VoyeurVision(TM) will enable customers to observe various destinations
within a resort, from viewing the excitement at the hotel pool, the poker
room, or the line at the buffet -- while sitting at the EGM, in their room or
via mobile device.
Streaming audio and live TV are additional applications that will keep
customers at the machines playing. Players will be able to listen to their
favorite genre of music or watch their favorite television show or sporting
event without having to leave the slot machine.
In addition to revitalizing the slot floor, PlayerVision(R) applications
are now integrated into resort's hotel rooms. The PlayerVision(R) system will
enable universal room controls such as lights and thermostats, room service,
view hotel bill, and check out service all readily available on the same
display. A customer will also be able to stream audio from hundreds of music
stations, watch live television, and order pay-per-view content -- providing a
complete in-room experience.
All of these applications have also been the driving force behind LVGI's
theme for G2E, "Ignite the Player Experience." With "Player Experience" being
the present and future focus in gaming, the PlayerVision(R) system and
IGTsb(TM) platform allow operators to offer an enhanced and unique experience
to a customer while also saving money and driving revenue. Las Vegas Gaming's
applications truly impact the operator's bottomline, an absolute necessity for
operators in today's economy.
These innovative software solutions can be seen at LVGI's Booth #711,
immediately adjacent to the entrance of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
