New Study of Las Vegas Visitor Satisfaction Finds Non-U.S. Visitors Spending Significantly Less on Gaming Than U.S. Visitors

TROY, Mich., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, November 13th, 2008, Clear Seas Research announced its inaugural study of the complete Las Vegas experience. The Vega$AT Index takes an independent approach to surveying thousands of Las Vegas visitors on a regular basis to provide the Las Vegas gaming and entertainment industry with key satisfaction and behavioral patterns on a wide variety of activities from gaming to dining to shopping and even nightclubs. The Vega$AT Index also explores current economic issues and their impact on the Las Vegas visitor.

"The Vega$AT Index is a comprehensive, third party approach to assessing the full visitor experience," explains John Thomas, Director of Clear Seas' Gaming Insights Practice. "Current studies done by individual casinos and other groups provide data on visitors. However, the Vega$AT Index goes further to explore visitor satisfaction AND behaviors across a wider continuum of Las Vegas activities to provide real benchmark information."

Senior executives will now have a strategic tool with which to compare their in-house survey results. "In these difficult economic times, having relevant and timely insights on visitors is more important than ever. The Vega$AT Index provides the relevant information you need to help make those critical business decisions and grow market share in difficult economic times," said Thomas.

Please join us at Booth 3760 at this year's G2E show (November 18th-20th in Las Vegas) to learn more about this indispensable new source of Las Vegas visitor satisfaction.
