LAS VEGAS, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bally Technologies'
(NYSE: BYI) 11,000 square foot display at the 2008 Global Gaming Expo
Nov. 18-20 will demonstrate why "Your Bally" is "Your Way" to maximize
customer entertainment and casino profitability with a complete games,
systems, and networked floor solution for casinos worldwide.
Visitors to Bally's 2008 exhibit (booth #1236) will immediately see why
partnering with Bally puts them on the road to success today and in the
future. Here are some of Bally's exhibit highlights:
-- 50 percent more games than last year, with new games for every market
including Class III, Class II, lottery, central determination, and
international.
-- Systems technology that delivers greater customer interaction and
operating efficiencies.
-- A Networked Floor of the Future(TM) Command and Control Center,
featuring live demonstrations of floor management applications; business
intelligence solutions; and picture-in-picture game displays.
"In today's challenging business environment, the best way to be
competitive is to give players a great experience at the right cost," said
Richard Haddrill, Chief Executive Officer of Bally Technologies. "The new
technologies and games that we are showcasing at G2E provide casino operators
with exciting and innovative ways to both increase play and manage floor and
player-marketing programs more efficiently, thereby driving enhanced
profitability."
Blazing 7s(TM) Multi-Slot(TM) Reel Slot one of industry's first multi-game
steppers
Making its debut at G2E will be Bally's award-winning new five-reel
stepper version of its multi-game platform. This dramatic new product --
Blazing 7s Multi-Slot -- is one of the industry's first reel-spinning slot
machines to offer multi-game capability with three games from which to choose.
Additionally, Bally will also present a new "Super Progressive Suite" for the
GameMaker video-slot platform, the much-awaited GameMaker HD Scheduler, as
well as a new version designed with six of Bally's most popular video slots
for the video-dominated international gaming market.
Bally to showcase DualVision(TM) multi-player platform with seating for
two
At G2E, Bally will introduce several exciting new cabinet configurations.
These include a new DualVision(TM) multi-player gaming platform based on the
Company's popular CineVision(TM) gaming cabinet. DualVision features a single,
segmented video display, bench seating for two, and a common bill acceptor
specifically designed for "couples" or "friends" play. The DualVision cabinets
on display will feature the new Two for the Money(TM) game.
Bally will also showcase a new series of supersized cabinet styles
measuring up to 12 feet tall and 38 inches wide, available in three different
configurations -- video, stepper, and stepper with an "Instant Spin prize
feature" top box. Another booth highlight will be Bally's new Transparent
Reels stepper concept featuring innovative technology that allows for unique,
3-D-style video and animated displays in conjunction with mechanical reels.
Among other new cabinet advancements slated for unveiling at G2E is a new
reel-spinning version of Bally's V32 video cabinet and a new FineLine cabinet
that features a slimmer profile with reduced depth.
New Playboy video slot to debut at G2E
Bally will showcase a variety of new licensed gaming products at G2E,
including an addition to its Playboy series games. This new Playboy video slot
will be featured on Bally's V32 video slot platform with its 32-inch vertical
touch-screen video display. This will be the first time Bally has offered a
Playboy game for sale rather than under a participation model.
Featuring the tagline: "Play Better. Win More.," Bally will also present
enhanced versions of its two retro-themed Skill Series(TM) Atari video slots
-- Breakout!(TM) and Pong(TM). Bally also plans to debut another licensed
title called Breeders' Cup, a horse-racing themed game.
Power Strike(TM) Progressives Offer High-Value Item as Top Award
One of Bally's featured game concepts is Power Strike(TM), a progressive
video slot that adds the cost of a top prize, such as a motorcycle, boat, car,
or vacation, into the game's mathematical formula. This allows that cost to be
configured into the top jackpot award as if it were cash.
Bally Adds Even More Depth to Stepper Portfolio
Bally will not disappoint its customers looking for new spinning-reel
products. In addition to new stepper innovations such as the jumbo cabinet,
V32 cabinet, Transparent Reels, and Blazing 7s Multi-Slot stepper, Bally is
expanding its S9E library and adding 10 new S9C titles.
One of the highlights will be Bally's new Cash Wheel(TM) progressive slot
with a Cash Wheel Instant Spin game that qualifies players for the wheel-based
Cash Wheel bonus feature.
Also on display at G2E will be a new variation of Power Progressives with
the debut of the new Power Progressive Platinum(TM) on the V32 with three new
game titles: White Gold(TM), Double Wild Rose(TM), and Rich & Famous(TM); as
well as five-reel and multi-line, three-reel versions of this game series.
Additionally, Bally will highlight eight new games that build upon the
success of the popular Quick Hit(TM) five-reel steppers -- Quick Hit Golden
Bell(TM), Quick Hit Wild Blue(TM), Quick Hit Wild Red(TM), Quick Hit White
Fire(TM), Quick Hit Silver Rain(TM), Quick Hit Amber Rays(TM), Quick Hit
Starlight Fire(TM), and Quick Hit Gold Storm(TM).
Bally to showcase enhanced video slot portfolio
Bally is coming on strong with a new lineup of video slots that inspire,
innovate, and impress. This year's show will feature such pioneering concepts
as Bally's new "video win profile" that provides new insights into designing
games players like to play again and again, and the new EasyView(TM) onscreen
video display and Easy Select(TM) button deck that gives players a more
consistent gaming experience from game to game. Bally has also added new win
messages that enhance celebration and excitement during game play.
Bally is also offering new packaged game collections, such as the Treasure
Series, the Monkey Series, and the Wild Series. These take the guesswork out
of banking groups of games for operators and provide pre-packaged themed
solutions ready for the casino floor. Another Bally G2E highlight is the
Company's greatly expanded library of exciting new video titles, including a
variety of new higher volatility video slots that appeal to gamblers and
repeat players seeking higher-volatility experiences.
$1 million jackpot progressive featured
Specialty games that will be featured on Bally's new Transparent Reels
platform include Hot N'Wild Blazing Stars(TM), Hot N'Wild Ruby Rush(TM),
Dragon Dynasty(TM), Twin Tigers(TM), Sky(TM), and Sky Spirits(TM).
Other specialty games highlights will include 1,000,000 Degrees(TM), a
million-dollar wide-area progressive product now available for the Class III
gaming market that can be linked to Bally's existing Millionaire Sevens(TM)
wide-area progressives; Cash Burst(TM), an exciting dual-screen gaming
experience; and two Digital Tower Series(TM) games: Fireball(TM) and
QuarterMillion$ Tower of Power(TM).
The success of the Quick Hit Platinum games on the dramatic V32 vertical
upright video slot will also be highlighted with the new Quick Hit
Diamonds(TM) games: Quick Hit Wild Red Jackpot(TM), Quick Hit Wild Blue
Jackpot(TM), and Quick Hit White Fire(TM).
In its popular Hot Shot(TM) series, Bally unveils Ultimate Hot Shot
Progressive(TM), a five-level progressive with a game-in-game bonus and a
top-wheel bonus feature.
Company showcases new Systems Version 11 with new user interfaces,
features for international markets
Bally's dominance of the worldwide gaming systems business will be evident
in the Company's systems display, where Bally will demonstrate its most
exciting array of systems and Networked Floor of the Future(TM) technology,
including the new Systems Version 11 and Bally Business Intelligence
Solutions(TM).
Bally SDS Version 11 now runs on UNIX(R) and Windows(R) platforms,
featuring new, attractive, and easy-to-navigate user interfaces, making
systems administration much easier for casino staff. Built for the global
marketplace, SDS Version 11 has multiple currency and multiple language
features. This powerful, significantly upgraded software also features new
systems monitoring options and GSA-protocol support. SDS Version 11's
flexibility and expandability makes it suitable for any size of casino
operation.
For the iSeries(R) platform customers, the ACSC Version 11 is an
innovative advancement with its international market capabilities, Universal
Player Card flexibility, and user-friendly graphical user interface.
The Company will display downloadable marketing promotions and messages
through the iVIEW(TM) high-speed communication network on each game in the
booth. The iVIEW network and Bally Systems provide improved service,
customized marketing at the point of play, second-chance win, dynamic game
configuration, easy-audit revenue management, and support for responsible
gaming. And it's available on games from every manufacturer.
Visitors to Bally's G2E booth will be able to see first-hand the Company's
new Bally Live Rewards(TM) Tournaments, the ultimate form of community gaming.
Offered through the iVIEW displays, Live Rewards Tournaments offers the player
a selection of standalone games or real-time tournaments in which players can
compete against other players.
Command and Control Center features networked management, marketing
solutions
Bally's leadership in the Networked Floor of the Future will be
highlighted by an elevated Command and Control Center. In this area, Bally
will showcase its award-winning Business Intelligence Solutions, a powerful
data analytics and visualization suite. This advanced application allows
gaming operators to gain significant understanding of their gaming floor
performance, player and game interaction, player behavior and trending, and
player loyalty and value. This solution helps gaming operators develop
uniquely targeted marketing campaigns driven by real-time data.
Also on display will be another component of Bally's Networked Floor, the
iVIEW Display Manager(TM). The iVIEW Display Manager allows gaming operators
to create picture-in-picture capability on the iVIEW display, the main game
display, the second gaming display, or any game display. This capability is
run through the iVIEW processor rather than the game processor which would
require separate regulatory approvals and complex development and integration
efforts.
G2E visitors will also be able to see live demonstrations of Bally's
G2S-compliant Download Configuration Manager(TM), which allows casinos to
download and configure Bally's cabinets with new game content as well as
adjust a wide variety of game configurations, including denominations and
minimum bet and hold percentages.
Bally Showcases New Cashless Gaming Stored-Value Card Functionality
Bally is demonstrating the next evolution of cashless gaming -- the Bally
Power Card(TM). This solution allows casinos to attract and reward players
with a stored-value card (similar to a gift card) that is redeemable for play
at any slot machine. The card can only be redeemed at participating casinos
where the slot machine card reader message will be recognized by a Bally Game
Monitoring Unit.
