Stanley Announces New Investor Relations Organization
NEW BRITAIN, Conn., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Stanley Works (NYSE: SWK) announced today that effective immediately, Corbin B. Walburger, Vice President - Business Development, has assumed the additional responsibility for Investor Relations reporting to James M. Loree, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Walburger will continue to report to D. Brett Bontrager with respect to his ongoing Business Development responsibilities. Mr. Loree also announced that the company has named Kathryn H. White as Director - Investor Relations reporting to Mr. Walburger. Together, Mr. Walburger and Ms. White will replace Greg Waybright, Interim VP - Investor Relations who will return to his duties as Vice President - Internal Audit. The Company is highly appreciative of Mr. Waybright's efforts during recent months to provide interim support and continuity for its investor relations initiatives.
Mr. Walburger joined Stanley in June 2008, after spending a decade at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in investment banking positions of increasing responsibility. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California at San Diego in 1995 and received a Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1999.
Ms. White, who is joining the company on November 4, is a 2001 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Richmond, where she was named to Phi Beta Kappa. She is an August 2009 candidate to receive her Masters of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School's Executive Program. Ms. White began her career at Thomson Financial where she held several positions of increasing responsibility in investor relations consulting and capital markets intelligence. In 2005 she took a position at Bear Stearns & Co. in institutional sales and was named Vice President in 2006.
