This year IZB has selected India as its partner country, highlighting the
significance of this emerging market in today's automotive industry.
Dana has had a presence in India since the 1960s, and a highlight of the
Dana display at IZB will be a number of Dana products produced in India,
including the rear axle and propshaft designed for Tata Motors' crossover
vehicles and pickups. One of Dana's joint-venture partners, the Anand Group,
will also exhibit in the Indian Pavilion.
"This year's IZB gives us the unique opportunity to showcase our product
technology, while at the same time highlighting our capabilities in India,"
said Dana Chief Executive Officer Gary Convis. "Dana recognized the importance
of the India market many years ago, and we are well positioned as a supplier
to its expanding vehicle manufacturing industry."
Dana currently employs nearly 2,000 people at 12 facilities and technology
centers in 10 cities in India. Dana and its joint venture affiliates operate
