Monsanto Company Sets Webcast and Analyst/Media Call for 2009 Fourth-Quarter and Fiscal-Year Financial Results

LOUIS, Sept. 29, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) will issue the company's financial results for its 2009 fourth quarter and full fiscal year on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, prior to market open. Monsanto will hold a conference call at 8:30 a.m. central time (9:30 a.m. eastern time) in conjunction with the announcement of its results. The call will focus on the company's results in the fourth-quarter and fiscal-year 2009, as well as future expectations. The call also may include a discussion of Monsanto's strategic initiatives, product performance and other matters related to the company's business.
As part of the company's fourth-quarter and fiscal-year announcement, Monsanto also will publish its year-end report on the company's biotech trait acreage for fiscal year 2009.
