Leading Cincinnati Public Relations Firm EMG to Develop Identity, Outreach

CINCINNATI, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council has chosen leading Greater Cincinnati public relations firm Eisen Marketing Group for its brand development, media relations and website development endeavors. Formerly incorporated as the GlobalCenter, the World Affairs Council hosts a number of events and programs designed to attract trade and investment, and to foster cultural understanding that educates and better connects the people and businesses of Greater Cincinnati with the world and the world with Cincinnati.

EMG president Rodger Roeser explains that his firm was tapped to create a more consistent and clear look and message regarding the mission of the group, and provide the proper marketing communications tools that will better enable the group to achieve its goals. Initial steps included brand and brand identity development, and a new logo was unveiled to the board September 15.

Media relations and comprehensive website development are also underway.

World Affairs Council executive director Erika Dockery explains that the efforts of the council are critical in positioning greater Cincinnati on a global stage, in attracting new business, leadership and opening new pipelines for the sharing of ideas, goods, and professionals. "And we needed a firm that has global reach and understanding, while remaining grounded in the Greater Cincinnati professional community. The EMG team is a nationally known and recognized firm, and they are a tremendous resource right here in our backyard. It's a pleasure to work with them."

Dockery adds that the group is always looking for globally minded businesses as sponsors, additional volunteers that wish to get involved, and suggestions on guests and events. Upcoming yet in 2009 include a leadership program with delegates from Bangladesh, a panel discussion featuring the former U.S. Ambassador to Korea, a meeting for leaders of area international organizations, and a high school education summit on global health issues and opportunities.
