SHANGHAI, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The First Authorized Chinese Forum for Industrial Boiler Energy Efficiency and Emission Reduction and the 1st International Forum on China IB Energy-conservation and Emission-reduction will be held at Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel from October 11 to October 12, 2009.

Industrial boiler industry has greatly enhanced both its economic scale and technical content through many years of independent innovation and uninterrupted efforts. As China presses ahead with the new mission of energy efficiency and emission reduction, the development of the industrial boiler industry is faced with new challenges. Regarding national energy efficiency and emission reduction strategies, the whole IB industry must seize development opportunities for innovations in key technologies, related mechanisms and industrial boiler energy-efficiency and emission-reduction systems. These efforts will maximize energy efficiency and environmental pollution reduction in order to realize sustainable development and the goal of Chinese national energy savings and emission reduction, which is the primary direction of development in this industry as a whole.

As a grand event for the industrial boiler industry to break through restrictions and take a leap of development, the Forum will hold formal discussions about medium- and long-term goals and approaches to industrial boiler energy efficiency and emission reduction, in order to promote the sound development of the industry as a whole. The Forum, therefore, is endowed with special the significance of leading and navigating the cause of national energy efficiency and emission reduction. It is hosted by China Electrical Equipment Industry Association Industrial Boiler Branch, Shanghai Industrial Boiler Research Institute and Shanghai International Exhibition Co. Ltd., and co-organized by Finland Oilon Burner Corporation Representative Office in China.

The Forum will invite leaders from related administrations or bureaus, such as the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, the AQSIQ Special Administration, and the State Special Inspection, to deliver speeches on the situation, policies and measures of energy efficiency and emission reduction in China and the implementation statuses of the top ten largest key energy-efficient projects. Moreover, leaders and experts from relevant competent authorities in Shanghai, academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, well-known experts and scholars of the industry, leaders of famous enterprises in the industry and technical experts from relevant foreign companies will also be invited. It is estimated that about 300 representatives from China Electrical Equipment Industry Association Industrial Boiler Branch and from industrial management departments, universities and colleges, research institutes, enterprises and users, etc. will be attracted to attend the Forum.
