Appointment of Paul Lipton Expands CA's Role in Open Standards and the Cloud-Connected Enterprise
ISLANDIA, N.Y., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CA, Inc. (Nasdaq: CA) today announced that it was elected to the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) Open Cloud Standards Incubator Leadership Board. The company will be represented by Paul Lipton, vice president of Industry Standards and Open Source.

Lipton has been an architect and developer of enterprise systems for more than 20 years. Lipton also serves on the Board of Directors of the Distributed Management Task Force, Inc. (DMTF), the Eclipse Foundation, the Object Management Group (OMG), and the OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) Board of Directors. He is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, a Sun Java Champion, and a founding member of the CA Council for Technical Excellence.
