COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Limited Brands, Inc. (NYSE: LTD) reported a comparable store sales decrease of 12 percent for the five weeks ended July 4, 2009, compared to the five weeks ended July 5, 2008. The company reported net sales of $891.8 million for the five weeks ended July 4, 2009, compared to net sales of $1.022 billion last year.

The company reported a comparable store sales decrease of 9 percent for the 22 weeks ended July 4, 2009, compared to the 22 weeks ended July 5, 2008. The company reported net sales of $3.236 billion for the 22 weeks ended July 4, 2009, compared to sales of $3.608 billion last year.
