NEW YORK, June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Scientific Games' (Nasdaq: SGMS) wholly-owned subsidiary, MDI Entertainment, will be considered by various member teams of the National Football League (NFL) to provide expertise related to lotteries that will be introducing team-themed scratch-off games starting with the upcoming 2009 season.

The NFL recently passed a resolution permitting teams to enter into agreements with lotteries in their marketing territory for lottery scratch-off games and other promotions.

Scientific Games, the leading provider of licensed games in the lottery industry, has extensive experience working with other major professional sports leagues, including Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the National Hockey League (NHL), in making team marks available to lotteries for use on game tickets.
