GameStreamer, Inc. Joins ng Connect Program to Drive Innovation in Digital Distribution and Streaming of Games and Media through LTE and Emerging 4G Broadband Networks

LOS ANGELES, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- At the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) 2009 today GameStreamer, Inc. announced its participation in the ng Connect Program, a new multi-industry initiative which will drive the development of next generation broadband services based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) and other ultra high bandwidth technologies.

As part of ng Connect, GameStreamer, Inc. will be able to work with other members of the organization to develop comprehensive, cost-effective solutions more quickly than if developed independently. ng Connect members span five major categories of applications and solutions: consumer media and entertainment, enterprise collaboration/e-healthcare and productivity, automotive connectivity, digital signage and broadband computing. GameStreamer fits perfectly into multiple categories including consumer media and entertainment, automotive connectivity and broadband computing.

"GameStreamer is passionate about the gaming industry growing and evolving. We see 4G as a means to achieve that evolution through empowering people with the freedom to go where they want to and still have the broadband speeds and rich media and gaming experience they are accustomed to at home," said Nathan Lands, EVP & Co-Founder of GameStreamer, Inc. "Organizations like the ng Connect Program, which are driving collaboration among leaders in multiple industries involved in the broadband digital media value chain, help ensure faster, more efficient progress and ultimately make the promise of 4G technologies a reality for consumers. We are excited to work alongside the other members of ng Connect to develop prototypes for in-car game systems using GameStreamer's proprietary predictive streaming technology over 4G, as well as other projects utilizing GameStreamer's digital distribution platform and technology."
