Aerojet's Sacramento Facility Achieves New Safety Record - Two Million Man Hours Without a Lost-time Accident
 

SACRAMENTO, Calif., May 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, announced today that its Sacramento, Calif. headquarters has achieved two million man hours without a lost-time accident. This accomplishment reflects no lost-time accidents from July 2008 - March 2009.

The Sacramento site reached the milestone on March 17, 2009 and celebrated the achievement with its employees today. "No lost-time accidents over two million hours is a significant accomplishment in our industry. It shows the dedication by all employees to being safe," said Sacramento's Director of Environmental, Health and Safety, Karen Gunderson.
