McDonald's New Hot and Cool Coffee Selections Satisfy Consumers' Demand for Premium Specialty Beverages

ROSELAND, N.J., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonald's New York Tri-State restaurants announced today that it is officially adding McCafe, espresso-based coffees to its beverage line-up. McCafe features hot and iced lattes, mochas and cappuccinos in a variety of flavors and can be made to order with Caramel, Hazelnut, Vanilla and sugar-free Vanilla syrups, with either whole or non-fat steamed milk. McCafe specialty coffee is available in 12, 16 or 22-ounces with prices varying by restaurant. The new McCafe specialty beverage line is now rolling into participating McDonald's restaurants in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut Tri-State area and will be widely available in the market by May 5.

McCafe, part of McDonald's goal to offer premium quality products with the convenience only McDonald's can provide, follows the successful launches of McDonald's Premium Roast Coffee, brewed Iced Coffee and Sweet Tea.

McCafe Product Overview

McDonald's uses only fully ripened Arabica coffee beans, harvested by hand in the warm climates of Central and South America, as well as the mountainous regions of Indonesia, to deliver great-tasting, high-quality coffee.

Iced Mochas

  • Feature espresso, cold whole or non-fat milk and chocolate syrup served over ice. These drinks are topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.

Lattes

  • Feature espresso and whole or non-fat steamed milk with the option to add Caramel, Hazelnut, Vanilla or sugar-free Vanilla syrups.

Iced Lattes

  • Are espresso based drinks with cold whole or non-fat milk and served over ice. Iced lattes are available with syrup options of Caramel, Hazelnut, Vanilla or sugar-free Vanilla.

Cappuccinos

  • Are composed of espresso, whole or non-fat steamed milk and tapped with frothy milk. McCafe cappuccinos are available with Caramel, Hazelnut, Vanilla or sugar-free Vanilla syrups.

Mochas

  • Include espresso, whole or non-fat steamed milk and chocolate syrup, topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
