Non-Profit Social Entrepreneur Network Earns Three-Month $30,000 Pro Bono PR Campaign to Help Implement Positive Change

Emory University Junior Mallory Goldberg Secures Winning Individual Entry; Receives $5,000 Internship to Learn PR Skills to Become a Change Agent

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW Group (www.mww.com), one of the nation's top ten public relations firms, today announced the winners of its national initiative, "100 Words for 100 Days." Timed to the first 100 Days of the Obama Administration, MWW Group issued an open call asking organizations and individuals to answer the question, "What Change Are You Ready For in the First 100 Days?" MWW Group announced Ashoka as the winning organization and recipient of a three-month pro bono public relations campaign, valued at $30,000. The agency also announced Mallory Goldberg as the winner in the individual category and recipient of a $5,000 three-month paid internship at any of MWW Group's ten offices.

"Our goal in launching the '100 Words for 100 Days' initiative was to challenge America to think about how we can all make a positive difference. We received many great submissions but the entries from Ashoka and Mallory Goldberg stood out for their creativity, originality and vision," said Michael W. Kempner, president and CEO of MWW Group. "To do our own small part in helping to make a positive difference, our team will work with Ashoka and Mallory to help them learn how to communicate more effectively so they can become true agents of change."

MWW Group will work alongside Ashoka for three months to create an impactful public relations strategy to help the organization implement change. Ashoka, a working community of approximately 2,000 social entrepreneurs, champions new social change ideas and supports entrepreneurs to start, grow, succeed and collaborate on their ventures.

As winner for best individual submission, Mallory Goldberg earned a three-month $5,000 internship at MWW Group's New York office. Goldberg's essay, "Improve Infrastructure, Generate Jobs," focused on the importance of rebuilding the country's bridges, tunnels and roadways. She is currently a junior at Emory University where she is attending the Goizueta Business School and pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration with a double major in journalism.
