Homex Opened a New, Sustainable Development in Puebla
CULIACAN, Mexico, March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Desarrolladora Homex,
S.A.B. de C.V. (Homex) [NYSE: HXM, BMV: HOMEX] a leading homebuilder in
Mexico, today announced the opening of a new affordable entry-level
development in Huejotzingo in the state of Puebla. The new Homex community
"Valle de San Miguel," which will consist of 4,000 homes, incorporates
sustainable, environmental and socially friendly attributes in line with
federal government initiatives to promote Integrated Sustainable Urban
Developments (DUIS) to improve the quality of life of Mexican families, and
orderly urban planning.
The "Valle de San Miguel" community will help the Company strengthen its
leadership and commitment in the state of Puebla, one of the fastest growing
and most attractive states in Mexico. The Company initiated its first project
in Puebla in 2006, with a community of approximately 2,000 homes.
