BIC Acquisition, LLC, the Makers of World Classic Trading Company Branded Ice Cream, Issues Product Recall
LYNNFIELD, Mass., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- BIC Acquisition, LLC, the makers of World Classic Trading Company branded Ice Cream, is voluntarily recalling the ice cream product listed below. The company initiated the voluntary recall in response to an expanded recall by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA). PCA's expanded recall includes all peanuts and peanut related products manufactured at their Blakely, GA facility. The FDA is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella linked to that manufacturing facility.
This recall is precautionary only. The company has not received any illness complaints about these products.
Consumers are advised to return these items to the store where they were purchased for a full refund. All code dates of this item are affected by this recall.
