Free in-store event is part of Borders' year-long celebration of Motown's 50th Anniversary
    LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ --

Who: They were discovered by Michael Bivins of New Edition, nurtured
by Motown in the early 1990s and became the biggest-selling
group in the company's history. Boyz II Men -- Nathan Morris,
Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman and Michael McCary -- smartly
combined contemporary beats with classic smooth harmony, reeling
off the huge hits "Motownphilly," "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye
To Yesterday" (the only a cappella No. 1 hit in pop music
history) and "End Of The Road" (from the feature film
"Boomerang") in the first year alone. "End Of The Road" is one
of three group No. 1 hits -- "I'll Make Love To You" and "One
Sweet Day" with Mariah Carey are the other two -- that set and
broke records for longevity at No. 1. They also tied the
Beatles' record for replacing themselves at the top of the
charts. Among their other hits: "Water Runs Dry," "On Bended
Knee," "4 Seasons of Loneliness," "A Song For Mama," "Can't Let
Her Go" and more. Boyz II Men honored their roots with "Motown:
A Journey Through Hitsville U.S.A.," an album of Motown covers
for which they have been nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award.

What: Grammy nominated Boyz II Men will greet fans and sign "Motown: A
Journey Through Hitsville U.S.A.," as well as their other CDs at
              Borders in Westwood.

During the event, fans will be treated to a special Q&A where
they will be able to ask Boyz II Men about their Motown roots,
what inspired them to do an album of Motown covers, what music
inspires them and more! The Q&A will be hosted by LA radio
personality Victor Zaragoza from radio station Hot 92.3.

in-store event featuring Boyz II Men. Now fans have the

II Men CDs signed by the artists themselves!
